“Le lundi au soleil,” “Alexandrie Alexandra,” “Le téléphone pleure,” “Belles, belles, belles”—we know his greatest hits by heart, songs that have had generations dancing since the 1960s and have become part of the French musical heritage. But who is really behind this music legend? Claude François is the story of a multi-talented genius, singer, dancer, choreographer, and businessman. Forty years after his death, his hits still resonate with each and every one of us. But behind the adored icon and his curtain of sequins and Clodettes lies a mysterious man, often dark, sometimes destructive, unlike any other French artist.
